Dr. Maria Oikonomou is an Obstetrician – Surgeon – Gynecologist with recognized specialization in Gynecological Endocrinology, Infertility, Fertility Preservation, and Menopause. Having trained and specialized for several years in leading hospitals in the United Kingdom, including Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Homerton University Hospital, she has significantly contributed to the diagnosis and treatment of women with complex hormonal and reproductive health conditions.
After completing her studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens, Dr. Oikonomou completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty training at Watford Hospital in London. She subsequently specialized in Gynecological Endocrinology and Infertility, receiving official certification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Fertility Society (BFS).
She also specializes in Fertility Preservation for Oncology Patients and minimally invasive gynecological surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy), holding certifications from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Fertility Society (BFS).
