It is recommended that the sample is collected in a designated room within the clinic or transported quickly from home under specific medical instructions to ensure accurate and reliable results.

In many cases, a single semen analysis (spermiogram) is not sufficient to form a complete picture of a man’s reproductive health. A combination of standard semen analysis and advanced fertility tests, along with repeating the test after a certain period of time, helps provide more reliable conclusions. This is because sperm quality can be temporarily affected by factors such as illness, infections, stress, diet, or medication use.

Yes, high levels of stress can affect ejaculation, potentially reducing the volume of the semen sample and consequently impacting the test results. In such cases, it is recommended to repeat the semen analysis after 3–5 days for more reliable outcomes.
